After School Hockey will begin in September.  Permission slips will go out a few weeks after the start of the school year.  There are no scheduled games for the hockey program this year, just a district wide tournament. Hopefully we will be able to have a few scrimmage games lined up, prior to the tournament. The tournament will be at the end of October. Practice  days will be Mondays from 2:20 to 3:20 PM.

 Flag Football

The flag football season will begin in October. There will be four scheduled games, two home games and two away games. Teams will play in an end of the season district wide flag football tournament in November. Permission slips will be handed out to all interested players at the end of September.

After School Soccer and Volleyball

Volleyball and soccer will begin after winter break. An updated schedule of how the volleyball and soccer program are going to run, will be available around before winter break. 

After School Basketball season will begin in March. Permission slips will go out at the end of February.

The NFL PLAY 60 

FitnessGram Project

Roosevelt has been selected to participate in the NFL Play 60 FitnessGram Project.

Our sponsoring team is the Los Angeles Chargers! The NFL Play 60 FitnessGram Project, in collaboration with NFL Play 60, the Cooper Institute, the NFL (Los Angeles Chargers), the American Heart Association, Everfi, National Dairy Council, and USA Football, is a program that provides a grant and resources to help improve health outcomes for students. The Fitness Gram Project is designed to help improve cardiorespiratory fitness and lower body mass, encouraging students to be active at least 60 minutes a day.
