The Roosevelt Elementary AVID Elementary Program is a component of the of the AVID College Readiness System. The AVID Elementary Program is designed to provide students with a system of rigorous curriculum and strategic support in every grade. The program provides systems to support students academic success.
The AVID program helps students learn and develop the habits they will need to be successful throughout their education. Students study skills, including organization, note taking, critical thinking strategies, and how to ask higher-level thinking questions.
