Uniform Policy
Roosevelt Elementary School is a mandatory uniform school. We want to remind parents that we are enforcing the policy 100% of the time. Students will be expected to wear a school uniform each day of the school year, with the exception of school spirit days. In the event that they are not wearing a school uniform, parents will be contacted to bring a change of clothes. If you would like a more detailed explanation of what is appropriate school attire, please pick up a dress code policy notice in the front office.
The uniform consists of:
- Navy blue or white shirts with a collar.
- Navy blue or khaki pants, shorts, skirts, or dresses.
- No jeans (except on Jean Fridays with a donation of $1)
- Closed toed shoes at all times. No flip flops or Crocs.

As we enter cold and flu season, we’d like to remind you of the district's protocols for managing COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses. Please see the guidance provided below.
When to Keep your Child Home from School
When determining if your child is well enough to attend school please refer to: Too Sick For School
When Your Child May Have COVID-19 or Other Respiratory Virus
If your student has symptoms such as fever, chills, fatigue, cough, severe congestion, or headache without another clear cause, please keep your student home and away from others.
Important Reporting Information
Please be aware that school districts are currently required to report all COVID-19 cases to the Riverside County Department of Public Health. Please contact your school to inform them if your student has tested positive for COVID-19.
